Overview:
Located in the landlocked plateau of Central Asia between China and Russia, Mongolia covers a territory more extensive than Great Britain, France, Germany, and Italy combined. Its nomadic tribes have maintained their authenticity, resisting the influence of modernization already evident in the urban areas. At the same time, large expanses of its countryside remain protected and pristine: an oasis of serenity and wildlife preservation amidst the vast exploits of civilization.
Meeting the Mongol nomads and interacting with them is a priceless experience: the main highlight of this itinerary, further enhanced by the opportunity to participate in a mini Naadam where the local culture and heritage are shared, cherished and protected through time. As it is widely known, the horse riding and archery skills of the Mongol nomads are legendary, much like their ingenuity in using the limited available resources and, most importantly, their fierce fighting skills in battle. Although Genghis Khan is today the most famous Mongolian leader, his Golden Horde having developed into a magnificent force feared by all other nations at the time, the Mongol nomads have had a significant impact on the world’s history through their migrations to the west and their infiltration of vast lands in Europe.
Take advantage of the opportunity to explore with us one of the few authentic places in the world where time stops for a while, and human courage and tenacity are celebrated on a daily basis.
